REGISTRATION

• Cancellations made before Friday, July 12, 2024, a 20% charge will be applied to the total cost of registration, booth and/or sponsorship.

• For cancellations made after Friday, July 12, 2024 and before Friday, August 18, 2024, a 50% charge will be applied to the total cost of registration, booth and/or sponsorship.
•  
•  For cancellations made after Friday, August 18, 2024, a 100% charge will be applied to the total cost of the registration, booth and/or sponsorship.

1. In the event of an act of God, force majeure or incapacity due to illness of a duly accredited participant that occurs prior to the beginning of the congress and prevents his/her participation in the event, the registration fee will be reserved for future FICEM events. If there is a difference in favor of FICEM, it must be covered by the participant.

   In any of the above cases, in order to accredit the request, the following documents must be sent to the e-mail congresotecnico@ficem.org , according to each situation:

1. For illness: medical support or medical incapacity signed and stamped by the treating physician, and a photocopy of the participant’s passport.

2. 2. Operational changes: Certificate issued by the airline in case of flight cancellation, which is subject to verification.

1. 3. Death of a relative in the first degree of consanguinity or first degree of affinity: Death certificate and civil registry of birth.

3. 4. Death of the participant: Death certificate and copy of the participant’s passport.

The event may be cancelled without liability for the parties in the event that the celebration of the event is impossible due to any cause beyond its control, including Covid-19 and/or any of its variants considering the following two parameters, more than 10,000 contagions at national level (Colombia) prior to the event (up to 8 days before) or more than 500 deaths registered, as well as; In addition, the following will be considered as force majeure causes that result in the cancellation of the event: natural forces such as hurricanes, floods and earthquakes, governmental orders, fire or explosion, acts of terrorism at the event site, necessary or essential constructions, confinement or seizure under legal protest, civil disturbances within a 10 kilometer radius of the hotel, partial or total labor prohibition and the impossibility or limitation in the means of transportation (maritime, air or land) that do not allow at least 40% of the registered attendees to reach the event. In case of cancellation for any of the above mentioned reasons, the Inter-American Cement Federation will assign a new date for the execution of the event within the current year or the following year; therefore, the attendee company will not lose the payments or deposits made.
